From the Podium: 5/20-5/23

FOUR. MORE. DAYS! Although many students have mostly wrapped up the school year, we officially wrap everything up for the summer this Thursday with graduation! It has been a great year, and we are so excited for the many great things to come next year.

I hope you enjoy your summer. Take time with family. I know I am looking forward to that. Of course, show planning is still ongoing! But the directors are excited to tune off for a little while to recharge.

There are some summer events to discuss, so please take some time to read through this post completely.

Week At A Glance:
Monday: Review Day: Need volunteers to meet at MSHS at 1 to load chairs and equipment for graduation on the band truck.
Tuesday: Exams
Wednesday: Exams, setup for graduation around 7AM (loading crew and volunteers needed), weather depending
Thursday: Graduation Practice: Meet at the stadium at 8:30AM, practice begins at 9. Please wear sunscreen. Waters provided.
Graduation: Dress is business casual (dress nice), Meet at stadium at 6:30PM, graduation begins at 7:30PM. Load chairs/equipment after graduation.

I need these spots filled for volunteers for our DCI show on 7/11 ASAP. There are student spots and parent spots. You can sign up for more than one spot if the times do not conflict. More details about each spot can be found here. We need to order volunteer shirts at the beginning of JUNE!

Peach orders for Hawaii credits are due June 15th!
